Sunday Snapshots: St. Simons Island, Georgia #SundaySnapshot #GoldenIslesGA

St. Simons Island, Georgia Avenue of the Oaks
Sitting at my desk and staring out of my window at the back of our property is where I do my big thinking. It's generally the time where I dream of places I'd like to visit and spots I've already been. My love of pretty pictures brings me to my latest thread: Sunday Snapshots. I adore showing my photos to my friends and family, and every Sunday I'll be showing a favorite snapshot from one of my family's vacations. Get ready for some gorgeous views and inspiration for your next vacation.

Today's snapshot is from St. Simons Island, Georgia. Undoubtedly one of my family's favorite islands, this image is Avenue of the Oaks. In 1826, Anna King Page inherited the land where Retreat Plantation sat and planted the row of oaks at its entrance. Now the entrance to Sea Island Golf Club, the tall oaks draw visitors for their serenity and beauty.
