My family and I have been extremely lucky in our travel adventures this year. We have driven the East Coast several times, ziplined over wild animals in Columbus, OH, and held birds of prey in Ontario. We have seen sand and snow, and trekked in temperatures in Canada where our noses and fingers in were frozen to heat in the southern U.S. where I thought we would melt. Through the extremes and even in the milder climates we were together. We have made memories. Shared smiles. We have inside jokes and cute catch phrases from our travels.
When making our slideshow this afternoon, I was a huge, grinning fool when gazing at our travel photos from this year. They are more than photos inside of folders housed in my laptop. They are precious moments in time that allow me to immediately go back to that specific day. Trying to narrow down a year's worth of vacations into a 3 minute montage was not easy. But, it is with great pleasure and joy that I give you this slideshow. So, a huge thank you to Trekaroo for being crazy enough to take me on in the spring. I adore your dedication to traveling families and look forward to fabulous 2014! And, a huge thank you to YOU. My wish for 2014 is health and happiness. Oh, and sand beneath my toes and snowflakes on my eyelids. Cheers and happy travels! |
