Sometimes when The Kid seems a little out of focus when we're traveling, I'll hand her my camera and suggest that she should take some pictures of our surroundings for my travel blog. I instantly get a smile and off she goes.
The credit for this photo of pink Phalaenopsis Orchids at Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh goes entirely to her. She has a vision for photography that is totally different from mine, and I've honestly taken cues from her. She's going to grow up to be an amazing photographer one day soon and I can't wait to see her shine.
