Tyrannosaurus Rex at Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh #LovePGH
Thinking back to when I was in elementary is not hard at all. Remembering what I ate for lunch last week, well, that's difficult.
When my elder brother would come home from the military, I remember asking him to take me to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. He would happily oblige knowing my love for earth science and we'd walk the same museum halls and I swear I'd nearly skip to the Dinosaur Hall not wanting to miss a minute staring up at the dino skeletons. They looked so gigantic, and even today, even though the hall's been renovated and its updates are state of the art, I still love visiting with my daughter.
This T-rex has been at the museum since 1942 when it was acquired from New York's American Museum of Natural History in 1941 for the bargain shipping price of $108.
