Hiking and Striking a Pose

Since I've lived in Eastern Ohio, I cannot remember a Christmas Day so warm. After all of our presents were opened, we hit our local park and took a leisurely hike through the woods. We didn't need heavy jackets or mittens- all we needed was us. 

I found a small cave entrance and went to check it out with The Kid. As I crept to the entrance (I could see to the back so I knew there were no hibernating animals) The Kid decided to play silly and strike a pose. 

I love this photo. I love the smile on The Kid's face. I love the mild weather we had. 

And I really loved the two hours of family time with The Kid and Mr. Locke.
