Irish Step Dancers in St. Patrick's Day Parade in Historic Dublin
This photo could have been taken at any number of St. Patrick's Day Parades across the United States, and is a scene I am very familiar with. Many years ago I, myself, used to dance in a St. Patrick's Day Parade and, whether the sun was shining like in the pic or if there was a blizzard, there were always thousands that turned up to dance right along with us.
This year my family and I will be headed to Dublin- and we won't even need our passports. There's a city in Ohio just north of Columbus that offers a grand way to celebrate all things Irish and its name is an homage to the popular city in Ireland. Beginning this Friday, the city will come alive with Irish-themed festivities including the ever popular Blarney Bash and a new event that will be a hoot- The Irish Fairy Doors of Dublin.
I'll be posting on social media the entire weekend, so please pop over to my Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook pages and follow along on our fun weekend.
Happy Travels!
